The couple greeted and waved at fans as the carriage went through the path filled with the cheers of onlookers. They are heading to St George’s Hall for a lunchtime reception hosted by the Queen.

Prince Harry takes one of the rings, handed over by his brother, The Duke of Cambridge, and places the wedding ring on the fourth finger of Ms. Markle’s left hand. He tells her, “I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage. With my body, I honor you, all that I am I give to you, and all that I have I share with you, within the love of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” Meghan Markle then does the same and the Archbishop of Canterbury addresses the congregation.
The Archbishop says: “In the presence of God, and before this congregation, Harry and Meghan have given their consent and made their marriage vows to each other. They have declared their marriage by the joining of hands and by the giving and receiving of rings. I, therefore, proclaim that they are husband and wife.” The Archbishop joins their right hands together and says: “Those whom God has joined together let no-one put asunder.”

The Most Reverend Bishop Michael Curry, the first African-American presiding bishop, and primate of the Episcopal Church gave an address titled the Power of Love at the service in St George’s Chapel. The Bishop quoted the words of Martin Luther King Jr. he said: “We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way.” The Most Reverend Bishop Michael Curry then added: “There’s power in love. Don’t underestimate it. Don’t even over-sentimentalize. There is power, power in love.” Meghan Markle was baptized into the Anglican Church, which is headed by Harry’s grandmother.

Prince Harry mouthed the words: “You look amazing”, as his beautiful bride met him at the altar. The couple held hands as the ceremony begun. At the High Altar, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, begins declarations.
Prince Harry was asked by the Archbishop, “Harry, will you take Meghan to be your wife? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and protect her, and, forsaking all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?”
The bridegroom answered: “I will.” Then the Archbishop asked Ms. Markle the same questions, which she then responded with: “I will.”

Meghan Markle entered the chapel with an elegant white dress by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. The bride was followed by her bridesmaids and pageboys, who include Princess Charlotte and Prince George. Meghan Markle waved to onlookers as the car made its way to the chapel. Members of the family have also begun to arrive, some on foot and others by car. The couple’s titles have been confirmed by the Queen herself. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The palace has confirmed the titles of the soon-to-be royal couple. Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince Harry has been deemed the Duke of Sussex by his grandmother the Queen. The Buckingham Palace said that Meghan Markle would become the Duchess of Sussex on marriage.
Prince Harry was also given Scottish and Northern Irish titles, becoming the Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel. According to the Buckingham Palace, “The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales.”The Palace added, “His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel. Prince Harry thus becomes His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Ms. Meghan Markle on marriage will become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.”
Meghan Markle is the first American to marry into the royal family since 1937. Wallis Simpson, a Baltimore grown American lady, married British King Edward VIII in 1937. She was known as the Duchess of Windsor as she was wed to King Edward VIII. Soon, Meghan Markle would be the next American lady to be given a title and join the royal family.
