BTS has once again broken the Internet. From announcing their appearance and nomination at the Billboard Music Awards to dropping concept photos out of the blue, the South Korean boy group does not fail to entice their millions of fans.
Previously, they announced their new album “Love Yourself: Tear.” The album will be the band’s third full-length album and is the second installment to their “Love Yourself” series, the first being “Love Yourself: Her.”
They also released two videos for album promotion. The first one, “Euphoria” features all the members of BTS in a colorful, happy vibe where they are carefree. While the second one, the comeback trailer entitled “Singularity” which is also the opening track of the album features BTS member V in a much darker and serious tone.
To further stir the fans, the band’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment released concept photos on Instagram which would appear in the album’s photobook. The record will have four versions: the Y, O, U, and R version. These versions will have different photo book themes from being dressed in all denim to a black and white version.
Recently, the band also released the tracklist for the album which comes out on May 18. They revealed 11 tracks, one of which features famous DJ Steve Aoki who they have previously worked with for the remix version of their song “Mic Drop.” Another track entitled “FAKE LOVE” was once rumored to be part of the album but eventually revealed to be one of the official tracks.
The band will also appear at the Billboard Music Awards on May 21, three days after they release the new album. It is their second appearance, and the first time they will perform. BTS again received a nomination for Top Social Artist, which they won last year.
Because of these back to back news, fans especially those on Twitter did not fail to express their excitement regarding what is in store for the boys for the coming days. From streaming the new album to planning voting strategies for the Billboard Music Awards, the BTS ARMY stand together to ensure the success of the band’s hard work.
