Fans all over the world never failed to point out everything from “FAKE LOVE,” from the lyrics to the visuals, even little things for those keen observers. They took to Twitter and expressed their feelings through memes, video reactions, and tweets that other ARMYs could relate.

Meanwhile, YouTubers also did not waste a second. At the speed of light, they immediately posted reactions to the videos. Users such as Couple Reacts, Jose Ochoa, Cameron Philip, and others released their videos as soon as the music video came out.

No BTS comeback is complete without fan theories. The video, as fans say, is connected to other videos the group has previously released. The teaser they released for “FAKE LOVE” featured tidbits from their Love Yourself Highlight Reel, and some fans were quick to notice. While others made theories, there are some who just read on the sidelines and try to grasp them.

BTS is currently in America to appear in talk shows such as Ellen in which they guested in last year and others to be announced and also to promote the latest album. They will also perform at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20. They also got nominated for Top Social Artist, which they won last year.

Talking about the album, BTS’ leader RM shared his insights regarding the new era of Love Yourself. “Love is a complex,” he said. “This time, we want to focus on some of the parts of love that we want to run away from.” Regarding “FAKE LOVE,” RM added that “If you are untrue to yourself, love won’t last.”
